Alright folks, weather permitting (crossing fingers) we will be resuming with the commencement of Irving league tonight. I have couple of things to cover:
- bring a shirt/jersey in the color of your team (or whichever color your captain designated in the welcome e-mail you hopefully got). We just got the tracking information and the jerseys are unfortunately showing up tomorrow.
- due to last week’s cancellation we will be extending the league another week. The last day of league will be August 15
- bring plenty of water. The closest water facilities are either an inconvenient walk, or the Trinity River.
- we will still be meeting at Humperdinks (on Northwest Highway) tonight and every Wednesday night after league. Remember, 20% off food and drinks.
- Irving Parks and rec does have a rainout number: (972) 994-1120 . Last week they did not update it frequently, hopefully this isn’t always the case. Whether or not they update it you will still hear from me or Melissa whenever league is canceled for weather.
